Sorry, just had to say. Why am I watching this absolute drivel? I've been up since 5, should be having a nap with my DS, but am watching this absolute abomination of a telly programme instead! Why? Why?

I love Neighbours. I record it and it's the first thing I watch after DD has gone to bed. It's mindless twaddle for 20mins.

Never mind Lou, how much of a bitch is shiney Kate being?

Don't get me wrong, I hate Kate too, but haven't watched for a while, switched on today, because I'm not working for once and my ears were assaulted by that ridiculous accent! Why is he doing it??

And what sort of a Grandma ignores her grandson telling her how much he likes one girl, and encourages another girl to crack on to him? Kate is just as bad for letting Grandma lead her astray - she is definitely a bitch for trying to steal her friend's man.

To be honest, there are several characters who need a good, hard slap at the moment! And Troy deserves worse, for sure.

And what sort of dad makes his daughter homeless, having walked out on her to go abroad with his dead wife's sister?

Nb: it is possible that I watch this too keenly.

Cakebot - Lou owes Kate A$8,000 - he'd ripped it off from Kyle's business, and Kate gave Lou the money from her trust fund from Paul so he could put it back into the business before Kyle found out.

Now Lou is acting as a male escort, to make money. The crap accent (and all the rubbish about meeting the Duchess of Kent, and Lord Harold Bishop), is because Kate set him up as escort to this woman, but the woman wanted an English gent to escort her, so Kate told her Lou is English.

I really do watch this too much.

Have the writers decided they hate the cast so much they want them all to be distinctly unpleasant? What a bizarre bunch! Think I might have to watch Life on Mars again on my Virgin catch up instead!
