he is filthy. but that's his character in the show. he's not a likeable guy in the show. he's very irritating tbh.

Nah, I mean in RL. Have seen his stand up, DH likes him but I find him a bit too shouty/angry, like an overdone pastiche of the fabulous Bill Hicks (genius). Just think he'd be good and rude, IYSWIM (shut up NDP)

oh i see...

i actually don't like his stand-up. completely agree with you but he does a good job in this 'rescue me'. irritating character but some great acting and some incredible one liners that seem to only sound funny when they come out his rough mouth.

I enjoyed the first series but found last night's episode sad rather than funny - terrible to watch someone self-destruct like that

i'm a little behind on the sky+ front. I've got a bit of a backlog so I only watched the one with the barbershop singers last night.

the whole barbershop singing thing made me PMSL. that was so funny. great quotes on that episode..

"i used to have a haircut like that.... back in like 1979"

"there had better be some gas in this thing, what's it get like 20 feet to the gallon"

"we're FDNY FFS, we can win at anything, baseball, hockey, football.... even a pussy thing like singing"

some of the one liners he was coming out with were hilarious. i made me lol when he stood in front of them all and they made him sing silent night.

So it's not jsut me that gets fails then? I'm getting fed up with programs I was looking forward to failing.

everyone gets the fails. and everyone seems to get the same fails now and then.

it's def not a perfect system. i was contemplating complaining and trying to get some money back but there is no point, everyone has the same troubles.
