I miss Arrested Development :(

I know I'm years behind, only just discovered this absolute gem recently and have flown through all 3 seasons - finished earlier this afternoon.

I'm at an absolute loss, what can I plug the gap with? I've tried big bang theory (11 eps so far) and while it's good and quite funny, it's nowhere near the same level.

I'm n mourning, any ideas how I can fill the void?

There'll be a new season sometime, I think Netflix is bringing it back :) And a movie.

I love it too, it's hilarious.

Community is very good!

Dh and I loved arrested development.
I agree modern family is an excellent series - it's had dh and I in stitches.
30 Rock is very funny too (only watched series one so far)

What is community?

A new season really? Didn't it finish like 5 years ago? oh I'm delighted if true!! I hope it's as funny as it was in it's time. I really don't think I'm going to find anything as good to be honest!

I can't stop thinking about Buster saying "you fed us cereal in an ashtray" Grin My kids are fed up of me saying it ("there's no cat food" "she'll just have to have cereal in an ashtray", "what's for tea" "cereal in an ashtray")

I can't hear the final countdown without expecting to see gob flailing around on stage with pennies bursting from his sleeves

The character development was just brilliant, the writing, the narration, the running gags ohhhh I miss it so much already

x-post 30 rock is excellent, but I've seen all seasons up to date, think the 7th and final season is out this year sometime. Will Arnett is excellent in that too as Devon Banks

Great thanks Natahsa, Just IMDb'ed that - looks like it could do the trick!

Try Better Off Ted - also with Portia Di Rossi

Buster is in that new comedy Veep. Worth seeing because it's written by Armando Iannucci (no I don't know how to spell his name, I'll live with it!) who wrote The Thick Of It.

Starts Monday on Sky.

I've heard of veep, lead character is played by the same woman who played Maggie Lizer in Arrested Development - will defnitely give that a go as well

Arrested Development has smart jokes about bad people.
Big Bang Theory has bad jokes about smart people.

Actually do like BBT but not a patch on AD.

Don't bother watching past Series One of 30 Rock though - they jump the shark pretty much straight after and the wittily written, relatable characters rapidly descend into characatures (that doesn't look right...) Especially Liz and Kenneth.

Am quite enjoying 'Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 3b'.

I agree with Modern Family. Also like the Middle.

Did love Arrested Development tho.
