I was Sad about Karen especially as the actress died last week but thought Renee took over the show a bit considering shes not really one of the 'wives'. The ending with all the ghosts dressed in white gave me the creeps. There should have been appearances from a lot more associated characters like the wives children etc. Im just gutted as was looking forward to a good cry!

I hated it - but then it has been crap for years so in some ways relieved it is all over - hated the very quick way they tidied up everyones lives and made them all have a happy ending - Karen's story was the best, at least it was not a soapy miraculous recovery - and she died with the man she loved and people cared - that has to be a good ending? But urgh - the rest of them all living out life in joy and happy marriages - that was not the theme of the show at all..

Yup, I found it pretty hard to believe that Bree would be elected to the Kentucky State Legislature after the murder trial and all of the other scandals in her past.

I think it was a bit tongue in cheek. But I didn't like it much either.

It was rubbish, I thought this whole series was actually. Nowhere near as funny or gripping as other series have been.

Yes - the people in white were utterly creepy and I didn't know who most of them were despite having watched every episode Confused

I was a bit disappointed that Tom and Lynette got back together - I never liked their relationship. It always seemed like they were competing against each other rather than working together. And, in the end, I didn't get the impression that Lynette had really moved beyond that, either - unlike Gaby, who did seem to grow over the course of the show.

Susan actually became less annoying after Mike died.

i came to find a DH thread, I LOVE the show and have watched since series 2. i was epecting to cry a lot at the end-not from sad endings but the whole- oh ive known these people for many years, i cant believe it ended that way ect. the ending was good yet not AS good as i had expected it to be,
The way it ended with the new lady shows us that it may not be over for wisteria lane, just the way that we know it, yet as the same as other things it will never be the same without the ones we know :)

I liked it, really gonna miss desperate housewives! I don't really feel that it was going downhill, this season was just as good as the others to me, although i didnt really like the people in white ghost thing at the end, i think some of them were just random people not actual characters at all - maybe they just wanted to bulk up the numbers a bit so shoved a few extras in?!
Sad they all moved away from the lane, even though they were happy in their own new lives but I wanted them all to stay there!

Did not know the real karen mclusky actress had died :(
