Call the Midwife repeated tonight. Is it suitable for a 10 year old?

I loved it and, as its the holidays is it suitable watching for a 10 and 11 year old? They are huge Miranda fans no comment

I would say so, it was perfect warm and cosy Sunday night telly.

I'd say no, it was fairly graphic - I remember seeing lots of blood and gore and a little blue newborn lying there looking dead. And I remember the bit with the prostitute riddled with some STI which was so stinky and repellent during an examination the midwife was horrified.

depending on the child i would say yes, my ds1 would have been fine, not so sure about ds2. but i have kept it recorded as i think from a historical pov its a good prog and would like my boys to watch it for that alone :)

I missed the first two episodes the first time around so caught up tonight. Astounding telly. Far and away the best thing on the box in the last few years.

How did I miss that the stinky one was a prostitute? I was ironing and maybe missed something? Anyway, wonderful, wonderful TV. Hope it wins lots of awards.

I think it would be okay, unless she's particularly sensitive.

There are some upsetting themes but I think it's all right overall. Love it :)
