CBBC shows for nearly 6 year old?

I have a DS who is nearly 6 and a DD 3.5. At the moment we only watch CBeebies, but he is getting bored of it. I don't want to switch to CBBC totally as I don't think he is entirely ready for it, but would like to give him the opportunity for watch something a bit more grown up. Can anyone recommend some programmes which might be worth a watch?

The things he likes on CBeebies are:
Tree Fu Ton
Mike the Knight
Justines House
Andy wild adventures

He is quite science minded I suppose.

I can record any programmes that might be suitable.
Thanks.

My 6 year old loves Deadly 60, he's really into wildlife, so it suits him!

I he enjoys Horrible Histories too (but doesn't get half of it!)

ds has only just turned 6, and watches Horrible Histories, Gory Games, Deadly 60 (and all its variants), and Splatalot/Total Wipeout.

I feel like such a bad mother- I let my three year old watch Cbbc with my foster son all the time! I kind of presumed it would be pretty much more of the same! I know they like watching 'dani's house', hope it's not likely to be damaging.

Deadly 60 was recommended to DS's Y1 class by the teacher. They all loved it!

Oh and DH and I love Friday Download, even though DS gets bored half way through ...

6 year old DD prefers CITV to CBBC. Might be worth a look?
