Ta da!

OP posts:
Changethatbulb · 30/05/2012 21:28

Howards Way was too posh for me. I couldn't understand it. Although Dallas and Dynasty were another matter as they were set in America.

SardineQueen · 30/05/2012 21:29

It was all about yachts and big hair I think.
I didn't really watch it either
But deffo worth an honourable mention on the thread!

Changethatbulb · 30/05/2012 21:33

I had big hair once. Now my hairdresser says it is thin and actually gave me some Keratase sample thingy at my last appointment bitch

Harr1etJ0nes · 30/05/2012 21:42

Quantum leap! Yes me too.

Shakey1500 · 30/05/2012 23:32

Ah here you all are Grin

Yes TBFE will most definitely shag Elaine. We won't see them for a fortnight.

I so want Daniel to have an affair and dump Zara. But not Cherry. She's too into the poison dwarf (harks back to Dallas also!)

Loved Prisoner Cell block H. Knots landing was cringingly bad Grin

Did he ever "leap" home in Quantum Leap??

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 06:53

Good question. I must Google that later.

Back to Doctors, the 'scriptwriters' aren't gonna let us have the Elaine/ TBFE/beanbag action til after the summer break are they?

Shakey1500 · 31/05/2012 10:03

No, they have to do the obligatory Mills and Boon-esque build up of two people despising each other before they wrangle with their feelings of lust, not comprehending how this could happen towards someone they clearly hate. Then their hands will brush against each other, his eyes will darken (never quite understood that?), she will gasp, the room will spin, she will "feel his growing hardness" then he will roger her senseless over a desk before moving to the beanbag where they will almost certainly orgasm simultaenously (yeah right, and how often does THAT happen). There'll be stars, rainbows, flasing lights and other shit.

SardineQueen · 31/05/2012 10:04

Shakey Shock that sounds great Grin

SCRIPTWRITERS I hope you are paying attention.

I just hope he isn't horrible to her. He seems like a right pig and I have a soft spot for Elaine.

Harr1etJ0nes · 31/05/2012 10:21

TBFE was on BBC breakfast but I had to take dd2 to school.

Sharpkat · 31/05/2012 10:46

Shakey Shock Please no!!! This is daytime tv. I sit on my beanbag in the corner watching it. There will be no tantric sex or simultaneous orgasms on the beanbag. I would need brain bleach if that happened Grin

Shakey1500 · 31/05/2012 10:53

Believe me, his love truncheon will be up her love tunnel faster than a patient will appear (an easy feat). Sigh, we can only hope his burgeoning manhood doesn't puncture the beanbag en route. Grin

Raahh · 31/05/2012 12:03

He'd better do right by 'Our elaine' with his love truncheon

So many rubbish soaps- Albion Market was one that lasted about 5 minutes. And I had a soft spot for 'Family affairs'? the one that was on 5 when it started- think they killed off the entire cast at one point.

oooh- and a really good one I remember watching after school, was Brazilian subtitled thing called 'Isaura the slave girl' used to be on after Countdown. it was very addictiveGrin

OP posts:
Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:01

Absolutely Grin Grin laughing out loud at the last few posts.

Raahh you must get a prize for coming up with THE most obscure show 'Isaura the slave girl'?!

Shakey you win the dirty-minded award plus double for coming up with puncturing a beanbag with a burgeoning manhood.

Sharpkat you win the clutching pearl award - but I'm with you on that one. Sex, on a beanbag....noooooooo

Disclaimer: all prizes and awards mentioned above are purely fictional and you will all receive nowt

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:03

(Oh, and p.s. what's an orgasm?)

Envy
mrsdevalle · 31/05/2012 13:11

I cannot believe nobody mentioned Sons and Daughters!!! It was EPIC, I used to run home from school to watch it.

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:13

"Sons and Daughters, love and laughter, tears of sadness and happiness....."

Nope, never saw it.

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:15

I didn't even have to Google that Blush

My dear-departed stepfather used to watch that with me. Bless him.

mrsdevalle · 31/05/2012 13:15

Obviously Wink #we can find out, our sons and daughters, are what we two were once about#

Piffpaffpoff · 31/05/2012 13:21

Sardinequeen there was a programme called Triangle I think, about cross channel ferries that went from an English port to two French ports i.e. sailing in a triangle. It had a Dr Who assistant in it I think. or maybe someone from Dynasty.

Why can I remember these things from years ago but can't remember what I did yesterday?

Grillamo · 31/05/2012 13:30

I sort of remember some of them programs, i liked shortland street my nan used to watch it and i always used to annoy her singing the theme tune and i always thought the accents were funny specially as they called someone called nick 'neck'

I think when you were all watchin sons and daughters i was watching the riddlers

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:48

TBFE is getting on my nerves already.

  1. His hair is too dark
  2. He doesn't look like a 'Harold'
mrsdevalle · 31/05/2012 13:49

That's cos he's called Howard :) He is irritating tho!

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:49

Or is it Howard?

Changethatbulb · 31/05/2012 13:50

Grin See......it's that forgettable, I got it wrong.

mrsdevalle · 31/05/2012 13:50

The BBC announcer called him Harold before it came on.
