Appreciate this is a shot in the dark what with everyone tuned into the footie or eurovision - but did anyone else watch this?

Really quite enjoyed it although spotted most of the major developments early on Grin

Will tune in for part 2 next week!

Checking in. Smile

I found it really rather bleak tbh. I spotted the teacher thing but the scene when he talked about his daughter and then all the shots of his hand was hard going.

I did like it but I want to know what part 2 is about. Surely that story is done and dusted

smugmum apparently they have a serial killer in stockholm in ep 2 and he demands they take him back on

who would have guessed he would have demanded that? Wink

OK. Thanks.

I enjoyed this. Not quite as much as The Bridge, Borgen, The Killing, Wallander etc, but still quite good. Quite harrowing to watch his grief, but thought the twist at the end was very good - definitely didn't see that coming Grin Mind you, I've only just got the hand thing, so clearly not the smartest cookie Wink Looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Ooh what hand thing? Noticed him doing something with his hand but didn't connect it with anything - can someone enlighten me pls .

carabos - he lost his young daughter in the asian tsunami because he let go of her hand when the wave pushed them along. so he tries to grab her hand and loses it all the time.

have to say i shed a little tear at the end of tonight's ep..

maybe not perfect - but well enough done

When the tsunami struck he was holding his daughter's hand, but couldn't keep hold of it so the water swept her away and he couldn't forgive himself.

Thought tonight's episode was excellent. Maybe I've got a touch of PMT but I found the last scene almost unbearably moving Sad

Ah yes, thanks everyone re the hand thing.
Quite liked it, bit slow, not as good as The Bridge etc but it'll do. Will watch ep 2 tomorrow.
I rather like the actor - Rolf is it? Don't normally go for bear-types but he's got something going on.

Spiral back on next Saturday. Think European police dramas have a regular spot Smile
