I love this! Did anyone see it tonight? Such a lovely family, I spent most of the programme in tears.

The end result was A-MA-ZING, really gorgeous interior as well as being practical for the dad who has Motor Neurone Disease.

I saw it Horsemad. And like you, found myself in tears. I've met the family through a mutual friend and they are as nice in real life as they appeared in the programme.

Hi mckenzie, that's nice to hear. I hope they are very happy in their 'new' updated home :)

Rarely watch this program - it was just on in the background but got drawn in and ended up watching it. I had a few tears in my eyes at the end. They did a grand job on the house.

Oooh, is it back? What side? What time?

I love all the banter.

What was the dads job before he got motor neuron disease?

Horsemad · 31/05/2012 00:14

Not sure but he had been very sporty - played lots of cricket.

I like to watch it on 'Catch-Up' so I can fast forward NKs amateur psychology hour, and the close up shots of the family member's face when he says "That must have been very hard for you" Grin
Other than that, I love it. Often worth a little weep.
