I've said it before and I'll say it again - he is the most convincing drunk on TV!

Funnily enough DP and I were both saying that this evening. Nobody else is as good as him!

He is like a pantomime character, his acting is rubbish.

His acting is truely awful, its like he is almost wispering when he talks.
They should have kept Ross Kemp he was a much better actor and a better looking bloke-they should sack steve mcfadden hes had his day , michael French (david) would be a great replacement, yum yum.
Also if phil gets any redder (red face) he'l explode

I thought he was hilarious when he had that brief phase of being a crack addict. Hilarious. The most active crack addict ever.

Either way, so bad it was hilarious.

I haven't watched EE in ages, but I'm disappointed he's still an alcoholic. I kinda wish they'd move his character on from that. He's much more interesting being sober and menacing.

Fact is an alcoholic (even in soapland) will always be an alcoholic - but the could be a recovering alcie and stay sober and menancing for ever! :)

it was the 5 minute crack addiction betty then he was cured a few days on the sofa with SHURL looking after him and he was as right as rain

MrsJay- yeh funny how he got clean so quick and hasn't gone back to it- very unrealistic storylind but in suppose the writer would be blamed for that even though im not keen on the red boiled egged one

omg yes nookie bear he does . I wonder how he manages to get his eyes all glazed like that though his whole facegoes "drunk"
