60 minute makeover

I watched this for the first time yesterday. Has anyone ever had the makeover or know anyone who has had it done. I wonder if they have to go in with elbows held tightly against their sides so not to touch the wet paint ! I wonder if they ever make over anyone that absolutely hates it and wants all their stuff back!. I remember watching a similar programme with Linda Barker and Laurence Llwellyn bowen in it and Linda broke a prized collection of teapots by hanging them on a suspended shelf .

It is not even 60 mins anyway, they have all day to clear the house out and prep everything, I have not heard of anything bad happening though. I remember wathich that Changing Rooms when they broke everything They must have to not touch anything, when they go in, and they do very well to paint the walls and get a carpet down, I would think there was bits of carpet stuck in the paintwork!

I think they try and get all the painting done in the first 30 mins so it dries in the tea break, which must be fairly long. They don't have time to touch the woodwork so it often ends up with a decent paint/wallpaper job on the walls but with chipped skirting boards.
