Am I the only one practically counting down the days til the new season of Lewis?

Gotta love a bit of Hathaway!

I need to record them as I didn't watch it when it first came out so I'm going through all the past series now. Such a good program, I think all the regulars are really good.

I agree, I hope he hooks up with Hobson soon instead of the usual flirtation with a relative of the dead person or the murderer!

No you are not the only one. Lewis and Hathaway are my favourite detective duo, they have a great relationship (And even if I didn't like it, I'd still watch just so I could drool over Laurence Fox )

Not quite as good as Morse which is 25 years old this year! But nearly!

I love it, but don't honestly think anyone would fancy Lewis in real life (someone's going to tell me I'm wrong,I know) and though Hathaway is nice I wish he would grow his hair a bit....

You're not alone grillamo. DH and I have been together since 1999 and the only thing we have in common is a shared love of a good murder mystery. Lewis is a fine example of the genre although I agree with amother it's not quite Morse.

I read in the paper yesterday (Daily Fail!) that Colin Dexter wants this to be the last series of Lewis, and actually Kevin Whately thinks it's about time Lewis retires too!

There was something else in the article that said the viewing figures for Lewis are really good - I'm guessing that whoever wrote the article didn't take into account the 'Laurence Fox effect' . (I've met him and he's a really nice guy too )

I heard that the last season was the last they would make, so i was really suprised when i saw the advert for a new one the other day.

Unfortunatly the fella doesnt like murder mystery so ill have to wait til the next day when hes at work to watch it in peace, but the upside is i dont have to play down my appreciation of the fox effect

It will be a shame if it's the last one but I think they will make more of the 'Endeavor' they piloted last year which I really enjoyed.
