George was a Dr who was a bit of a hippy, her husband Ronnie was a lawyer and they moved to china or somewhere.
Joe was another Dr (who was cynical of the different ideas George had) who moved to america, he is Daniels uncle who baby Joe is named after. I think Daniel became a doctor coz he loved joe so much or some other cringe worthy reason!

George and Ronnie were ace. Back in the day instead of Mr Gobby the only plod in the village we had Ronnie - who specialised in Human Rights Law I think.

At work Tuesday/wednesday so having missed last Thursday/Friday on nights I am getting withdrawal symptoms

I love it when DH is working lates, he leaves at 12.30pm meaning I can watch it properly. AND watch Escape to the Country :)

When he's on earlies he gets home at 2pm meaning I have to erect the ironing board and have it on standby, leaping up when I see the car pulling in the drive. So, when he walks in he says (as I'm "ironing away") "You've got that Doctors crap on again" I reply "Is it? Oh yes, well I was watching the lunchtime news and just left it on"

Acting wise it's a bit like a graveyard/last chance saloon for washed up has beens isn't it? Bless 'em. I did enjoy the Shakespeare week though. The yellow trousers on Barry were inspired, very clever, against the Twelfth Night episode. See? Proper cultured iz Shakey

Worst episode ever was that Bond type one last year. I didn't even watch it after the first 5 minutes. Dire.
