anyone been watching Touch?

Not sure what to make of it, in fact I'm tempted to give up on it - seems a bit far fetched. What does everyone else think?

I am too about to give up on it I think. The whole 'this child will be institutionlised tomorrow' scenario is just daft (I do appreciate that the whole premise is daft!), and the social worker worker is THE WORST actress.

So is it going to get better then?

I see. Well I thought it was really slow for the first 4 eps then I started to see the links throughout the series, like the lottery man and the social worker. I think it's a bit of a marmite show, but I like it. The main story of Kiefer and his son is heartbreaking and I think I would be the same if it were my DS trying to communicate.

I series linked it on sky + but took a while to get round to watching it, but am actually enjoying, I mean it's nonsense but so is most (American) tv but I still love it.

I just hope it doesn't turn into another 'Lost' where it just ends up getting more and more ludicrous because it doesn't really know where it's going.

wherearemysocks that's exactly how I feel about it. I loved Lost initially and then it just got more and more far fetched then just ended without answering all the questions. I fear Touch may be the same!

We're watching it too and both like it. I think you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it, but I too like seeing how things link up and will be interested to see which characters pop up again later in the series.

Alcatraz is another far-fetched one, but we're enjoying that one too.

And Haven is seriously far-fetched, but I love it (although DH can't be doing with it at all). Grin

Oh don't talk to be about bloody Lost! I am still pissed off that I spent about 5 years watching that, only for it to end so stupidly.

I hope that Touch doesn't go the same way.
