So tonight's Silent Witness....to watch or not to watch?

I love this programme but last weeks was a bit OTT sooooooo not sure whether to watch tonight or not!

I will probably watch even though this season is pants. And last week was atrocious. It's gone 'up itself', so precious etc. I've said it before: time to axe.

Will be keeping MN handy, just in case. (And because I've become a little bit addicted

Not great, was it? Can't stand the amount of 'cloak and dagger' style of story telling in it.

Will watch the conclusion tomorrow night, but I think that'll be it for me. Won't be committing any more of my life to it.

Well I haven´t a bloody clue what that was about!

Certainly won´t be bothering with the next!

Well this story concludes tomorrow & that´s it for this series, but there´s another one planned for next year. (according to Wiki)

If BBC reads MN, and of course they do, they'll know what to do with next year's series. If they don't know, I'll happily tell them (for a BBC sized fee of course).

Tonights one was rubbish too - too much 'suspense' and too much flashing back to the past...

Much preferred it when the emphasis was on pathology, on using thier brains, on finding the clues, none of this bizarry thriller style suspense...

Crap, utter crap. And very disappointed as dh and I used to love Silent Witness. But this is not good. Won't be watching any more.

Didn't watch last weeks. Won't bother trying to find it on iplayer.

Oh I what I really couldn´t get was if "Sean" is in the house "Eve" used to live in-why would her bedroom be as she left it??!!

About to watch it now while doing the ironing! Isn't there one more week?

I thought it only started up last week wondered why I felt like I had missed a lot!

I thought that about the room too diddl, its been used as a Priory-type rehab place and used to be popular (from what Sean said) so all the rooms would have been renovated surely?

We were laughing at the policewoman who was a younger version of Janet, even down to the gap between the teeth.

Oh, unless that wasnt her bedroom but a room where they tried to exorcise her-if that´s the way this is going?

I don't understand why it didn't occur to Sean that it was the same house? There were enough clues.

Well, I'm still totally confused after tonights conclusion.

I don't understand how Silent Witness still gets commissioned and yet they cancelled Waking the Dead.

I agree. Silent Witness was fab when it was with Amanda Burton, now it is utter tripe as the plot and story lines are so unbelieveable and far fetched and it is all a bit 'weird'.

Waking the Dead was fab right up until the end. Yet it got cancelled?

Rubbish decisions all round...

Couldn't stand Amanda Burton much prefer Leo in charge but I agree this series is very odd and unbelievable.

Silent Witness is about pathologists who act like police and The Bridge is about police who act like pathologists.

Has the director of the show changed (I cannot be arsed to look that up)? Even the filming is different - all grey and moody with certain items in colour. Just contrived and over the top.

I MUCH preferred the last series - I had not seen the series with Amanda Burton in it, but I def liked the last series.

As for this series: crock of shite, but I watch it because I am addicted.
