I've only seen a few episodes, dc are enjoying it and dh loves the historical apprentice. Are they in danger of making it too much for adults though? Not sure any children will get the apprentice jokes?

Disclaimer: it is still the best current children's programme (just so relieved to not to have...he lives in a pineapple under the sea...running round my head during meetings anymore)

The song about the new settlers in Jamestown is brilliant too!

I love the RAF song too! Also the Viking song, Mary Seacole, Jamestown, Boudicca, and ofcourse - Charles II, King of Bling!

As much as it pains me to say it (huge fan) the new series is really disappointing .

There have been some great bits (The Charles Darwin/Bowie song) but most of it is a bit meh and some of it is painfully lame (the League of Gentlemen bits in particular. I also hated the Mary Seacole song).

Ben Willbond would still get it though .

My DS's TA came over to me the other day and told me that DS has been shouting about ripping off skin (he has ASD and most of what he says is copied). I had to sheepishly explain to her that it was from the Horrible Histories 'Boast Battle'

I love the L.o.G. in their own right, but I don't think they add anything to HH.

We'll need to watch it over again to see what the good bits are.
