It's still better than ours though! I did wonder what would replace Junior Masterchef Australia as it must be a while before the next Masterchef Australia starts.

Masterchef NZ proves that you can still have a good programme on a short run.

So why does ours suck so much? We must surely have some great amateur cooks out there?

oh definitely agree . Ours is way overly drawn out and the scheduling too fragmented. You really need the regular slot to maintain momentum and interest. Is Jax from UK - her accent seems more London than NZ.

Yeah she made a big deal about being a "Cockney" in the first episode.

I like Cameron, and is it Nadia - the one who has good intentions and wobbly emotions!

I remember when the last series was shown over one weekend on Watch - I didn't move from the sofa all weekend.

It is so so so much better than the UK version. Why can't the UK one be as exciting as this?

I can't believe Michael survived the past two times to be honest, he should have been gone long ago. His cooking is a joke.

I really wanted Cameron to go far, I loved his attitude - he wasn't the typical middle-class person who takes part, a real talent. I did Google him, as I'd have hated for him to go back to the chicken farm so if you want to know then here he is!
