Nice of her to tidy my house up for me though!

She's a nail-biting home-wrecking wild-eyed towel-bothering freak.

nitfreecod · 09/02/2006 21:10

rofl at all this

snafu · 09/02/2006 21:10

Rofl at Anthea being the Martha Stewart of Britain. I guess a nice long jail term for our favourite chipmunk-cheeked husband-snatcher would be too much to ask?

Sad about Anthea and her IVF treatment , but she had no idea about the mum with the young kids.

Someone has already mentioned about the paintings all being over the house, Anthea just could not get it ! The mum said these were the best days of her life being with her young kids.

I admire that mum for spending time playing and do crafts with her kids.
Unfortunately Anthea just did not get the kid thing. When you have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old your house does get in a mess.

Also noticed that Anthea accent seemed a bit more 'posh' and some of 'her ideas' we had seen before i.e photo on shoe boxes.

A cross between , What not to wear and How clean is your home.

Afraid programme did not do much for Anthea and I don't think there is going to be a great comeback

Freckle · 09/02/2006 22:19

Only caught about 5 mins of prog before I found some thing much more interesting to watch, but it did make me realise that the photos on various recent magazines have been seriously air-brushed to eliminate wrinkles, etc.

expatinscotland · 09/02/2006 22:29

I don't feel sad about Anthea and all her failed IVFs. I feel sorry for all those wonderful couples who aren't half as arrogant as she is and can't afford 5 or 6 IVF attempts.

She should be advertising Tampax not presenting poncey TV shows.

jalopy · 09/02/2006 22:32

Can't believe this programme ever made it beyond the pilot stage. It's was toe-curlingly awful to watch. Anthea lives in another world. Where do they find the contestants? Two seemingly educated women that need to be told how to keep their houses tidy and organised?! It was a load of b***ks.

mummydear · 09/02/2006 22:32

She'd be telling us how to insert them properly !!!

mummydear · 09/02/2006 22:32

Tampax that is

Moomin · 09/02/2006 22:44

doesn't she ever have her husbands kids over to the house or are they banned from going there and he has to meet them in the local macdonalds?

and i wonder what his ex-wide thought of all this?!

some of it seemed a bit tongue in cheek but i was ed at the bit where the one mum was being criticised for choosing finger-painting with her toddler instead of getting on the the CHORES!! yes, she should be

Moomin · 09/02/2006 22:45

ex-wide? ex-wife!
