Came across this a while ago and didn't see the beginning. But the Captain is clearly screwed.

I can't get over the recording of the conversations between the air rescuer and the captain.

I watched it the other night. I felt sick watching it and I must admit it has put me off going on a cruise! I can't believe the captain left when there where still people waiting to get off. I can't understand why they don't start evacuating the minute there's any sign of trouble.

It was seeing the woman relay the message from the captain that everything was ok and go go back to their cabins that got me.

It's terrible he left but I can't find the words to describe him for not going back on.

I was gob smacked to be honest. It made me feel really upset and quite scared. Heaven knows what on earth the poor passengers went through that night.

its very rare that a TV show stops me in my tracks

totally amazing programme - so well put together

DH are I are with you FrillyMilly - we were trying to work out how we would get 3 DC (all under 5) off a boat esp considering i struggle to carry the youngest for any length of time now

conversation where the captain had to be ordered back on was unbelievable - esp when he asked about fatalities and that seem to be the comment that put the air rescuer over the edge
