Who was the baby they killed in the brothel?

I believe it was one of the bastard babies produced by the old king Robert barathein (sp?). Would also explain ut they're looking for the blacksmith's boy who is with aria.

Ah, thats why that horrible boy was asking his mother. When is he going to get his comeuppance, then, I wonder? he's vile.

All the children they killed were supposedly the bastard children of Robert and could have claim to the throne. Joffrey is awful I audibly 'boo'/ 'hiss' when he is on the screen.

So remind me again the story with the blacksmith boy? (told DP I'd forget whole chunks of the 1st series) Is he actually legitimate and a real threat or was Ned Stark just ridiculously shocked that the king had bastard children?

They wanted to remove all threats to the throne, the baby I am sure was a girl so was not much of a threat any way, joffery is a real git luckily I've read the books so I know what is going to happen.

They are killing all the king's other children so no-one comes to the same conclusion that Ned did (and Jon Arryn before him) - why do all of Robert's other children have black hair and yet his "legitimate" children are all blonde?
