Liking it so far (and the new male inspector - hmmm). Found series 14 quite a stretch of the imagination (Harry's doppleganger type episode in particular).

No! I've missed one. Arse!

I'm onto that right now as my house is very quiet...

Thank you!!

In the middle of watching the first episode on iPlayer. However, just have to say... that cop? Worst. Scottish. Accent. Ever. It distracts the hell out of me whenever he's in a scene.

I hate what they are doing with Leo, this week's means that is 2 other women he has snogged in a row. And they had Harry at it last night too.

LIZS · 11/04/2012 12:13

I didn't bother to watch.

You didn't miss much, I think the writers must have changed

Thank goodness I found this thread- caught up on iplayer last night, and was completely confused... Thought the policewoman was wraith...but then was the young slight mate in the police car as an accomplice, or because he had given crazy games-boy up? Still not any clearer, but relieved not necessarily because of pregnancy hormones!

Oh, succumbed to my Harry crush and googled him. I love him even more now I know he represented GB in fencing- swoon.

Well, that was another miserable Silent Witness! So many plot holes, inconsistencies etc. No other pathologists in the whole of England (or even London) able to do any of the work? Yet all three of them are able to pop off investigating, at a whim?
I used to love this show. Sad

whatkungfuthat · 17/04/2012 07:47

The main thing that confused me was when they found the 'similar' DNA how were they not able to tell whether it was from the male or female side of the family like they do on CSI

At least Leo didn't snog anyone this week

I am utterly perplexed after watching both episodes last night. Were they really saying that the girl they found in the mother's house was Arnold's last victim? I thought he had been inside for years?

And what exactly had his mother's role been in the murders? Was she the one who wrapped and buried the bones for him? I didn't think the whole family background thing was clear at all.

Also the baby shaking research stuff seemed to have been left hanging. Once the doctor committed suicide noone was interested in that whole part of the plot from what I could see - maybe it will come back later in the series.

Also I am mystified as to what in that poem caused the doctor to kill herself or were you just supposed to assume she had lost it after spending too much time with him?

And why did Arnold kill himself? Was it because noone would visit him any more as loneliness seemed to be a bit of a theme, although no explanation really for why he did what he did to the girls.

Utterly disappointed and confused by the whole thing.

Am catching up now I'm most mystified by the fact that the heating was broken yet Tom was traipsing around with his sleeves rolled up

Idontknowhowtohelpher · 18/04/2012 10:23

Yes, and the security is awful where they work!

and why did Annie's son think Arnold would kill Annie by sending her to Arnold's mother?
