Watched this by chance tonight. Loved it.

The three lead characters are female, Robert Carlisle's in it and it's dark and foreboding.

Anyone else watch it?

About ten mins in. Just got to Robert Carlisle

OracleInaCoracle · 01/04/2012 21:39

I really liked it too, better than titanic!

Yama · 01/04/2012 21:55

Yeah, I didn't fancy Titanic.

Channel 5 seems to be importing a lot of not bad US tv programmes.

Reckon I'll tune in again next week.

Recorded it to watch while titanic was recording so I can watch both programmes in 90mins without the ads!

I enjoyed it more than titanic, will definitely watch next week.

MissMogwi · 01/04/2012 22:51

I have been looking forward to this , enjoyed last nights .

bronze · 02/04/2012 13:39

He is suitably sinister in this Susie may be a bit ham in the fairytale bits but hey it's fairytale

savoycabbage · 02/04/2012 13:50

I love it. It has a 'Lost' vibe.

LeBOF · 02/04/2012 13:51

Is it repeated at all, or online anywhere?

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2012 14:05

jumpingjackhash · 02/04/2012 14:34

Bugger - forgot about this. Assuming it will be on catch-up? Also missed the opening episode of the new Silent Witness last night. Will be scouring catch-up for all sorts!

jumpingjackhash · 02/04/2012 14:35

Just saw Oracle's post - will set V+ for Thurs!

DartsAgain · 02/04/2012 21:53

I watched it and liked it. Will be watching again next week. I have sadly developed an instant crush on Robert Carlyle in character of Rumplestiltskin....Confused

BerryCheesecake · 03/04/2012 21:52

Am so glad there is a thread about this :)

I saw it and loved it! Agree about the 'lost' vibe too :o

There are some darker themes. You can read about the episodes already aimed in the USA on Wikipedia :)

Warren - I watched it with my 6 year old dd. She loved it. Strong females leads and a reinvention of fairy tale roles.

I think DH and I must have been watching a different programme Confused Watched about half an hour and couldn't get into it at all - found the fairy tale bits too twee and Disney-esque for an adult drama. A shame, as we had high hopes, but I think our love for Buffy and House means we expect too much from other scripts in terms of wit and intelligence!
