Love Life did you watch it?

I enjoyed it but wasn't the ending so very contrived? I know these things are always mega predictable but even so

I thought it was very poor ending. I had a friend in a very similar situation to the wife so it struck a chord with me. Having gone through infertility and come out the other side I thought the portrayal of the wife was a bit of a predicitable stereo-type and ended up shouting at the TV a bit!

Glad it wasn't just me then. The wife both irritated and moved you I thought. She's an excellent actress.

you can probably watch it on iplayer? It was very predictable but silly imo. Dad got husband to give him 1K for rent so he could get a place for him and daughter. The bf was going to go travelling again with girl he met. Dad gambled some of the money luckily ended up winning big, went to take back 1K for hubby, his wife happened to be there, dad's stomach ulcer burst when he lost his rag with the wife (she'd been trying to get the baby??) wife took him to hospital. Bf's girl saw baby's mother in cafe where she works, told mother that bf loves her and she doubts he'll go away. Bf had proposed, mother said yes outside hossy. Then all happy families and she told the wife they'd get time with baby. Oh in meantime wife's mother got broken leg when mother went to see wife, saw wife getting baby stuff delivered, lost rag, pushed delivery men and box fell on wife's mother's leg So baby mother went to police station. That's where bf proposed.

Oh and the PC and the shop girl got it on too.
