I gave up after the first 20 mins, it was so dull! I might give it another go as I was looking forward to it, I might not have been pin the right mood.

ppeatfruit · 27/03/2012 10:20

It wasn't afraid to get into the 'slowness' of the georgian age which takes a time to get used to for our 'quick fix' times I s'pose. yes Valium give it another go it'll be worth itSmile

The really weird thing was we have a black and white cat like the one in the prog.(It was amazingly well trained BTW did you see it with the butterflies?) and I fell asleep for little while (I had been up very early it wasn't t Bright Star!!) when i woke she was on my lap and it felt odd like I was in the t.v.

Oh! Oh! Oh! It was FANTASTIC!!!!! Just watched the rest of it, so glad I didn't delete it!

The sky plus cut it short just as she was reciting Bright star poem and walking through the woods - did I mess anything right at the end?

It felt very 'real' didn't it? Truly amazing.

The cat was the star of the show Grin

valiumredhead · 29/03/2012 14:37

Oh and best kissing scene EVER by the river and when she cried at the news of his death, that is the best crying I have ever seen in a film.

bronze · 29/03/2012 14:44

what channel was it? Will try catch up

valiumredhead · 29/03/2012 14:48

ppeatfruit · 29/03/2012 15:37

bronze · 30/03/2012 00:30

Well I should have been in bed ages ago, says it all

valiumredhead · 30/03/2012 08:37

DId you watch it? WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END?

ppeatfruit · 30/03/2012 09:02

Sorry val It put me in a really weird trance I don't even remember if i saw the ending or not DID anybody see the ending?

One of the problems is that I saw it in France and I was REALLY tired at the time( i'm completely drug and drink free if you're thinking she must've been doped up Grin) so an hour ahead of Brit. and I can't see it again on the computer 'cos it doesn't do that here. I'll google it to see if they're repeating it or if it can be got on DVD or anything. Sorry for going on Blush

I'm watching the second half at the moment. I'll let you know Grin

bronze · 30/03/2012 09:51

Whoever said about the crying was right.

Valium- Keats went to Italy. Brown came back with Abi and baby and admitted he had failed Keats. Brown tells the Brawns that keats had died. Fanny dresses in black, cuts her hair and walks off throug the snow reciting bright star (Sammy follows to chech shes ok)

Bit before credits say that Fanny continues to walk the heath and wear the ring. Keats died thinking he was a failure

And I still have tears running down my face

ppeatfruit · 30/03/2012 09:54

OOh I just googled it .It's a FILM!!! Out since 2009 so it's probably available on DVD! Hooray!

I am Blush to admit I had no idea he was so young when he died!

I am going to see if the love letters are on kindle - I bet they are free to download.

ppeatfruit · 30/03/2012 13:46

Thanks bronze but 'cos I'm in Fr. ATM I can't get it on Iplayer I'm going to get the DVD. I knew he was young when he died; he lived in parts of Nth London that I know well and we looked round the house where he stayed in Teignmouth Devon with a view to buy !! We didn't buy it though!
