Possibly the best and cleverest Dr Who episode!

Do you mean Blink? If so, I would definitely agree. Possibly. There are others I like as much.

Kellamity · 09/03/2012 20:46

is that what it is called? The one with the statues. I've just watched it, brilliant!

They are by far the most terrifying Dr Who monsters. Sod those wussy daleks!

Mrsjay · 11/03/2012 17:17

I have seen them in wales a few years ago then in glasgow they had them lurking in the exhibition and i EEEEEKED when i saw them Blush scary things ,

cornsilkidy · 11/03/2012 23:08

the actress who plays Sally Sparrow in that episode is great. If some ex corrie or Eastenders actress had played the role it would probably have been crap.

bronze · 12/03/2012 00:27

Shes Carey Mulligan, pretty fab actress who has won a bafta amongst others

LineRunner · 12/03/2012 00:29

I took my DCs up the cemetery after watching that and showed them the Victorian angel statues on the graves and they shat themselves.

No, not really.

BlackLetterDay · 12/03/2012 00:35

The only Moffat story to be actually good, the timeline actually makes sense, praise the lord. Shame about the whole blinking, shite, they seemed to move about the house quite freely, surely the angels had plenty of time to attack them Hmm. The angels are a bit pants really, especially with the 2 parter from the fifth series factored in, surely irl you would just keep one eye open.

Clary · 12/03/2012 00:41

DO NOT WATCH IT ALONE IN THE HOUSE OR PSEUDO ALONE (IE KIDS ASLEEP).

Sorry to shout but I did this and was scared out of my skin! I told someone at ork the next day and they said nooooo you mustn't watch that one alone!!!!

Thanks for the warning then Grin

Agree it's fab.

oldraver · 12/03/2012 10:08

I have to admit it's the only (newer) Doctor Who I haven't watched all the way through
Sensitive flower me

I loved watching this again and recognising Carey Mulligan and DD spotted Leo the elderly werewolf from Being Human (Billy Shipton) Smile.

I've just looked up the actor - Louis Mahoney - apparently he played the Doctor in the "Don't Mention The War" episode of Fawlty Towers as well Smile Smile.
