Despite my feeling that it was an advert for the course he coaches on, I couldnt help being amazed at the difference in his speech and the speech of the people who took part in the documentary.
I had tears streaming down my face at the young father being able to read to his dc.
Lovely documentary.

I enjoyed it - he does a great job with the coaching and raising awareness. He has come along way from his pop idol days hasn't he?

I agree. He seems like a really inspirational man now. And the difference in his speech from Pop Idol till now is amazing. Saw the young father on This Morning yesterday & he was so pleased to be able to say to his girlfriend - "I love you". What a difference it must make to their whole lives.

I too was amazed by this show. I have a DC who stammers, nowhere near as bad as anyone in the programme, but I have been to several speech therapists etc with him so know a little about the subject. the results were fantastic. I suspect the effort and concentration required are a lot harder than was made out, even tho GG did mention that it wasn't easy and that he'd been on the course for 10 years. Impressive stuff

I watched this programme and thought it was nothing short of amazing how Gareth changed the lives of those students in just 4 days. A lot of hard work and dedication went into it both from Gareth and the students.

... I watched it too after being given the link/info (thank you) ...

V.V. impressed - great stuff and amazing... I remember him as a little grasshopper and the change/improvement was just incredible...

Go Gareth Go....
