I think that, like many TV shows, the idea was great, and the execution was good, but eventually most shows either run out of steam or turn into soap operas. The writers/producers have had the unusual benefit of the studio/network agreeing some time ago that this will be the last season, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy for them. How to conclude the story of Gregory House?
Activity on the House newsgroup has significantly reduced this season, even though new episodes have aired in the US for the last few weeks. Mostly, postings have been speculation, ranging from the possible (it will definitely at last actually be lupus) to the ridiculous (the entire hospital gets blown up).
I've Sky+ the rest of the series, and I'll watch the remaining episodes, just because it's been an intriguing journey and I do have respect for the writers and actors.
Is anyone else going to be watching on the countdown to the last we'll see of Gregory House?
