Just a heads up - been reading through my TV guide in the Sunday Times, and they picked this as choice (had they not I wouldn't have heard about it as I rarely watch ITV, let alone ITV 2 / ITV 3 / ITV 4 / ITV 583 etc!)

ITV 3 - Thursday 10pm

Those Who Kill

The Sunday Times has said:

... Fans of Wire in the Blood, in particular, should find nothing too alien in this story of female detective, Katrine Ries Jenson, who teams up with a renegade crime profiler to solve a series of particularly nasty murders. Fortunately, overfamiliarity is tempered by engaging performances and a satisfying sense of menace.

Ooh, thanks for the heads up! Looks good.

vjg13 · 21/02/2012 19:57

Repeated on Saturday evening too.

Listmaker · 22/02/2012 12:09

The Sunday Times Culture sections tells me all the good TV I need to watch........a must read every Sun to make sure you don't miss Danish things and French cop dramas, True Blood etc. They know all the good stuff!

KurriKurri · 22/02/2012 15:04

DD and I are looking forward to it, esp as it has Lars Mikkelsen from The Killing in it.

wildstrawberryplace · 23/02/2012 23:50

I can't believe sky+ went blue screen on me in the last bleddy 10 mins of this!

mousymouseafraidofdogs · 24/02/2012 08:03

will watch tonight, have a bag of turkish pepper (danish salty salmiak bonbons)

wildstrawberryplace · 24/02/2012 09:46

Ooh I love turkish pepper. And the best ice cream in the world is Super Flyers (salmiak water ice on outside, liquorice ice cream inside with a liquorice truffle filling - bit like a liquorice Feast)

LaVolcan · 24/02/2012 09:54

Not only did it have Lars Mikkelson from The Killing in, it also had the chap who played one of the soldiers (Soegaard?) from The Killing II and the woman who played the rather awkward secretary from Borgen.

I nearly always fall asleep watching the telly late at night and this kept me awake right until the end, so in my book that means it was very good.

KurriKurri · 24/02/2012 10:59

I was gripped, but my legs got too twitchy and tired to concentrate properly, so have recorded the last hour. I'm having to get used to the fast pace after the Killing being such an painstaking affair.

I'm glad katrine thumped Schaeffer for what he did with that lid thing, - I would have too.

I have never heard of turkish pepper Grin

mousymouseafraidofdogs · 24/02/2012 13:38

hmm, not on the itvplayer yet...

wildstrawberryplace · 24/02/2012 14:07

Is episode 1 going to be repeated any day this week? I missed the last 10 mins of it

Pantah630 · 24/02/2012 14:20

:( missed it and not on net player, am at Cub camp this weekend so won't catch the Saturday repeat. Hoping it gets on the net player soon, looking forward to seeing Lars again, almost as tasty as his brother Mads :)

Highlander · 26/02/2012 08:41

Oh PISS!!!

I knew this was coming and I've been leeping an eye on ITV3. How did the hell I. Miss it?!

Right..... I need a blow by blow account of the first episode.....

TheFarSide · 26/02/2012 17:18

I really didn't like it that much - it has none of the atmospheric pace and character development of The Killing or even Borgen. It contained every crime scene cliche under the sun in just one episode. It wasn't a patch on Wallander, which does manage to have one case per episode without making it feel like a race. In fact, it's just like all those cheap British and American crime dramas that they keep churning out. Sad

wildstrawberryplace · 26/02/2012 19:08

Yeah, I agree. It was very ITV wasn't it?

mousymouseafraidofdogs · 28/02/2012 21:41
