I'd love to vacuum Grandpa up and see Jason Mason's face as he watched in horror. And while I was at it I'd Hoover up Little cook!

SpangledPandemonium · 15/02/2012 20:45

Jack Ford would be turning in his grave

Chubfuddler · 15/02/2012 20:48

It makes Dh ragey. He can't understand how they can afford that house, that camper van and a beach hut. They appear to live in Southwold. How are they so loaded?

Poor Jemima.

EverybodysSnowyEyed · 15/02/2012 20:49

It's because they don't spend money on clothes. Saves a fortune.

And they take all of Grandpa's pension off him - that's why he can't go out

peggotty · 15/02/2012 20:54

Grandpa and Great Aunt Loretta are married in real life.

Magneto · 15/02/2012 20:57

Is Great Aunt Loretta Esther in New Tricks?

EverybodysSnowyEyed · 15/02/2012 21:00

Magneto - yes

Magneto · 15/02/2012 21:07

I thought so, I keep expecting to see Brian fiddling with his bike in the background Grin

We went to visit where gimp is filmed last summer (aldeburgh and southwold) and my five yeare old ds still says it was his best day ever Smile

moonblushtomato · 15/02/2012 22:16

Wish I could be the Mum in GIMP, she's so bloody happy all the time! Is she on Prozac?

Must say, Dad has to be the worse actor ever seen on children's TV, though that's not saying muchGrin

cutegorilla · 15/02/2012 22:44

GIMP - best acronym ever?

BertieBotts · 15/02/2012 22:45

ROFL, yes, "OH NO, GRANDPA!" Calm yourself, child, he usually manages to get out of trouble without your help...

iwasyoungonce · 15/02/2012 22:53

My DD loved this for about a year. It is so stage school, it is kind of a piss-take of itself I think. But nonetheless irritating for it.

I agree that the grandpa needs to stop being such a weird control freak and getting involved in all the kids' petty little problems.

And Jason (and the whole family actually) need to stop with the constant grinning, and singing.

And be nicer to Aunt Loretta you nasty bastards.
