madmarchhare · 23/01/2006 15:51

Yey, am Friends saddo too.

mazzystar · 23/01/2006 15:52

is that because noneof their movie careers are working out

apart from david schwimmers masterly performance as Melman in MAdagascar

Nbg · 23/01/2006 15:53

Yey!

Love love love Friends.

Fantastic.

madmarchhare · 23/01/2006 15:53

hardly need the cash though do they?

compo · 23/01/2006 15:56

I think they might want to do it for nostalgia reasons. They did, after all, get on really well with each other. it was only the writers who (allegedly) hated them!

Ah hope so. I cried in the last ever episode! Didn't want them to end!

compo · 23/01/2006 16:05

Well I feel as if I grew up with tem (sad as that sounds) so I don't see why it should just stop bevcause it eneded happily ever after. My story goes on so I'd be interested in the having babies, married life etc shenigans

madmarchhare · 23/01/2006 16:06

MS , it should never ever end. Am appaled at your suggestion.

Nbg · 23/01/2006 16:08

I remember being at school when it started.

When I was really down when I had dd, I borrowed the videos off a friend and watched them all the time. Really cheered me up.

Nbg · 23/01/2006 16:09

The one on E4 tonight is a good one!

cupcakes · 23/01/2006 16:13

I just phoned dh to tell him and burst out crying - pregnancy hormones!
I lurve Friends and watch the repeats all the time.

expatinscotland · 23/01/2006 16:14

OH GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

NOT 'Friends'!

I must have been the only person in America who wanted to see a cross between CSI and Friends, after all the 'friends' had been found mysteriously murdered.

Nbg · 23/01/2006 16:15

Bah expat!

I thought all americans loved friends?

Flamesparrow · 23/01/2006 16:15

Noooo... I loved friends, but it ended properly - just leave it ended. Its like Buffy - I am a huge Buffy fan, but it was over, it had a final ending, and it should be left ended.

Nbg · 23/01/2006 16:18

With most programmes I would say leave it but not Friends.

Even though it ended really well I still think theres stories to be told.

Do Rachel and Ross get married?
How do Chandler and Monica get on with the twins in their new house? (Just realised no flat!)
Do Phoebe and Mike have babes?

Am I sad?
Yes.

expatinscotland · 23/01/2006 16:21

Monica had to go into a residential treatment for her eating disorder after a raven mistook her for a scarecrow.

Phoebe got AIDS b/c she was so stupid she slept w/a junkie w/no condom after he played on her sympathies.

Chandler and Ross finally came out of the closet and are happily living together, although Ross isn't on the lease anymore b/c he's trying to hide from state officials for not paying child support on the kid he abandoned at the beginning of the series.

Rachel finally fullfilled her potential as a streetwalker - she was able to hire a night nanny, tho.

Joey . . . somebody mistook him for Joey Buttafucco (LOOONG story) and shot him.

Nbg · 23/01/2006 16:23
Grin
Flamesparrow · 23/01/2006 16:25

Have Chandler and Ross got the twins, or did they end up in care?

expatinscotland · 23/01/2006 16:28

Care. State officials didn't approve of their relationship and w/Monica undergoing psychiatric treatment, CPS (childrens' protective services) felt it was for the best.

Besides, Ross doesn't exactly have a good track record, having not kept up w/his visitation agreement w/his first child.

Flamesparrow · 23/01/2006 16:29

Yup, he was only interested in him if he could use him as an excuse to get out of something, or as a way of name dropping Sting...
