Is anyone watching this? I'm really shocked, I didn't know much about this topic before. So glad my school days are long gone but worried about dd growing up Sad I like being using a pseudonym here but can see how it can cause so many problems online when people abuse the anonymity. Can't believe what I'm hearing about RIP trolls, don't they understand it's real people?

oh no, I don't like being using a pseudonym - I like being able to use one, or I like using one.

It's interesting isn't it?
Still learnt nothing as to why people do it though.
Not particularly sorry for Cher Lloyd, I think she was outed as a nasty bully at school, though that might just be sleb gossip.

Brilliant Panorama.

That awful guy on the bus... makes my blood boil. What a smug, arrogant, horrible man. What happens in someone's life for them to end up like that?

This is why i don't allow my dd on certain sites. She isn't allowed to go onto such things as Facebook and Youtube and things like that till she is 13 or 14 and even then her privacy settings are going to be on the max. I have had my fair share of internet bullies in the past and i don't want my girl having to deal with it

I think Facebook would be better as an 18+ site.

Don't really see what benefits the majority of kids get from it. Just a way to have to be seen to be popular and feel pressure about how many friends, what pics you have etc.

As an adult I find it most useful for reconnecting with people I have lost touch with, or sharing news/pics with people who live really far away. I'd say the majority of children don't use it for this.

Also, as an adult I can see how the pressure is there to make yourself look really fun and exciting with a great life, I can't imagine how shit it must make teenagers feel.

Interesting the the trolls have 'loser' written all over them in RL.
