OMG, having a mid-life crush on 'Sean', anyone else finding Friday night viewing rather lovely?

I don't know who he is but he's rarther nice.

Oh God me too, I'm a bit obsessed . It's the character though ("come on Stella luv"), the actor looks a little cheesey in some of his photos. He's been in tons of stuff but the only thing I really remember him in is Elizabeth, with Cate Blanchett. He hasn't got a big part but I've seen it sooooo many times!

He was in Corrie a few years back. Anyone remember when Michelle was in the bath and a builder climbed through the window and kissed whilst she was wrapped in a towel? That were him. :o

Oh I love Stella! I'm feeling a wee bit sorry for Alan though, as lovely as Sean is, my heart does break a little bit every time I see him lookng at her.

She's got to end up with Sean though doesn't she????

I'm not 100% convinced that she will. Alan's plaintive 'I love you' after her car in the first episode was lovely.

There has to be a happy ending for Alan too, doesn't there?

Oh I hope it works out for Stella too - I think they make a good couple.
I agree Songbird - it's his character that I find attractive.
I'm really enjoying this series - hope there will be more.

I luffs him, but yes it's the 'bit of rough knight in shinning armour' as a combo in his character that is irresistable.

We're only half way through the series - maybe they've got together a bit soon for it to last! I love Alan - hope springs eternal!

I love it too. Ruth Jones is excellent at creating funny characters that are likeable and give you a warm glow kind of feeling. All the characters are great. My favourite line this week was, "Well, that's understandable Daddy"

But tonight? She doesn't like him as much as he like her, she's going to ruin things by getting back with Rob Morgan.
I heart this programme.

Nooooooooooooo - she CAN'T get back with Rob Morgan!! And he hasn't 'aged well' if he's only supposed to be 44- he looks way older than that.

Was watching Stella last night on catch-up, is it just me, or is it getting better and better? Absolutely loving it right now, and Sean.....enough said

I love it more and more each week too. The characters are fantastic, even the bit parts like the woman who says "cocking" all the time, the camp undertaker and Daddy - awesome!

He is gorgeous but his voice really really grates on me.

Not the regional accent but the way everything is draaaaawled. A bit David Beckham?? Nice till he opens his mouth

That said, Stella the tv prog is bloody marvellous.
