Does Lianne call Stella "Mum" now? Since when? Just heard it for the first time tonight, have I missed this before or is it a new thing? Not thats of great importance, just wondered.

Leanne never called Les's wives Mum; I hadn't noticed when she started using it for Stella. Weren't the scenes between Stella and Leanne dreadful? Stella is ever more cardboard and unconvincing.

It's not surprising that poor little Simon stole the show.

Oh, an dwith the mention of going to stay with Toyah, I wonder what happened to Spider? Now there's a character I'd love to see return. Perhaps he could come and visit Auntie Em again. I loved how they interacted, and it would be nice to see what the newer "oldies" and Mary made of him.

Is that Leeanne gone then from Corrie, I hadn't heard she was leaving but I'm not often on digital spy or soap gossip places so not that up on what's going to happen.

I'd want to see Leanne continue on The Street.

I also want to see Carla leave. The affair with Peter was so very contrived, because it was so sudden and implausible a U-turn after the rather better story of their resisting temptation, alongside their respective battles with alcohol. It's all very unsatisfactory, and the total bodging of a big storyline on a sensitive subject has made the Carla character just unwatchable.

I wonder if Leanne finds out she's pregnant and comes back. There's been all this fertility stuff recently. It would put a spanner in the works for Peter and Carla.

The same Leanne who when she was a high class call girl, was bonking Carla's husband !

IIRC the husband kidnapped Leanne and she was in the boot of his car.He got killed on a train line crossing.

Carla was a bit Hmm with her at first (unsurprisingly) but maybe then realised what a turd her DH was.
