I saw an episode on BBC(I think) about a father and son GP team in some remote uk place which was breathtaking.
I made a very careful mental note about going on holiday there as it was a holiday destination.
And now I have totally forgotten everything. :( all I can recall is that one of the GP had sticky out ears. Not very helpful

Not sure if it's the right one but Doc Martin? He has sticky out ears :)

Shortest thread ever. Wine

If it was a father and son team that would be Born and Bred. (James Bolam and Michael French). But no sticky-out ears, so probably not!

LineRunner · 31/01/2012 00:39

And that one with Nigel Havers in it...??

vanfurgston · 31/01/2012 01:37

thanks for the replies LineRuner and elephantsteaparty. i only ever watched a bit of an episode so may have muddled up the drama with some other one but it was, as FoofFighter said, Doc Martin, and the filming location is Port Isaac

port isaac is beautiful, as is that whole coastline.

Housewife2010 · 01/02/2012 10:59

I loved the Nigel Havers one - especially Simon Williams in it - swoon...

vanfurgston · 01/02/2012 12:22

It's simply breathtaking. Can u suggest some other holiday locations near there piratecat?

Padstow, Polzeath, um further south I'd take in St Ives. You'd adore St Ives.

It doesn't take long to get anywhere around there.

I'm from South Devon, the South Hams area, and its lovely here too.

Hope Cove, The Start Point peninsular, Bantham, Blackpool Sands, Dartmouth.

you could have a google!

thanks pirate, am googleing away.
am in love with that area thanks to Doc Martin
