It is just dreadful. In so many ways.

Christian with his 'Just for med'd hair.

That receptionist with the appalingly non-fitting jacket

and this weeks guests. Basher. Basher? Really Basher? orrid hair too.

Bashe - not sure how to spell it is a\ traditional polish name I believe

CumberdickBendybatch · 31/01/2012 11:01

No, it was definitely Basher - it was written into the side of his head.. the Mum explained that it was a nickname and something to do with headbutting?? Confused Hmm

but yes.. this weeks programme was bloody awful. I'm just amazed that place is still in business!

CumberdickBendybatch · 31/01/2012 11:02

HAIR, not head.. it was not carved into his skull Grin

lesley33 · 31/01/2012 11:48

Ohhh! Sorry thats totally different

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/01/2012 17:20

awful but wonderfully watchable - love it !

TwoIfBySea · 31/01/2012 20:30

Damn, this weeks didn't record properly and I was watching t'other side (who knew hanging up your washing brought on labour so many times!)

Agree about the woman with the jacket though, you'd think she'd notice the shoulder pads rising above her ears. How does that happen?

chocolateshoes · 31/01/2012 20:32

and the Alan Partridge like owner who never ever leaves the hotel! Love it!

Rubysmommy · 31/01/2012 20:39

I love it!! The guests make the programme Grin

Sparklingbrook · 31/01/2012 20:40

That poor boy's terrible hairstyle and his mother straightening it. Hmm

mrsjay · 31/01/2012 21:14

there is another thread i thought it was this one anyhoo i watched the last series which was much better and a lot warmer this 1 is meh and basher and his hair oh dearie me . I dont think i will watch it again the manager is just awful ,

kreecherlivesupstairs · 01/02/2012 10:30

I only saw it last week and this. The manager is a peculiar man, Christian has peculiar contact lenses and Basher? Poor basher.
I felt really sort for the manager's son. It was his 22nd birthday and his dad took him for dinner in the hotel, pinched a birthday card from the hotel then told him he couldn't stay the night. Nice.

Sparklingbrook · 01/02/2012 10:37

But why would anyone go and stop there after watching the programme? Especially with the booking on-line fiasco. Grin

kreecherlivesupstairs · 01/02/2012 10:59

Hoping to get their face on the telly maybe?
Those two durty old men from last week have had a lot of stick I hope.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/02/2012 23:32

Just saw the latest one. I didn't realise that Mark owned the place, I thought he just managed it.

MaryAnnSingleton · 07/02/2012 07:42

am rather upset that the shouldery office woman has the same specs as me

SuePurblybilt · 07/02/2012 07:59

Christian is a nasty piece of work IMO. Vain, certainly deluded about his own professionalism and horrid.
I loved the last series but this one is rather tedious. Apart from waiting to see what the office lady (bigger one, not scottish one) will wear next and if she's found choked be her own neckerchief.

MaryAnnSingleton · 07/02/2012 08:42

he is,and too much make up and dyed hair.

mrsjay · 07/02/2012 21:43

christian looks like a leather sofa ! its getting stranger and its quite boring , and do we need to see so many guests in their pants YUCK

Sarsaparilllla · 07/02/2012 21:55

I LOVE this programme Grin it's hillarious for all the wrong reasons but the family with the child called Basher were v. odd indeed, why would a mum call her child a nickname like that?

GoingForGoalWeight · 13/02/2012 23:00

I love this programme. The boss is so ambitous and funny! The admin woman, with no dress sense, is so rude!

carernotasaint · 14/02/2012 00:43

Whats the betting that part of the reason the manager/owner has two failed marriages behind him is because hes a nit picking tightwad.

zipzap · 14/02/2012 01:27

I caught some of this for the first time while channel hopping the other day.

Thought it was one of those mockumentaries where they had pit together the manager to be the love child of Alan partridge and basil fawlty.

Then dh pointed out that it was real and not mocked up at all. Very strange!

zipzap · 14/02/2012 01:28

Put together not pit together Blush

BarmyBiscuit · 14/02/2012 10:21

I love the show. It's fantastic. The manager is hilarious. Much better than the first series. In fact, I wouldn't mind if they kept the show running with the same hotel as I don't think they could top this one.

JosieRosie · 14/02/2012 16:01

It's great telly. They are all utterly barking mad. The manager basically is Alan Partridge, the most incompetent man on shoe leather as my dad would say. The rest of the staff are no better, they all just seem to sit around drinking coffee and smoking fags and talking about how 'off his head' the manager is. It's fab Grin
