How long do you take to get up, have a shower, get dressed have breakfast and be ready to go in the morning?
I'm talking about you personally, not including organizing children - assume you were going out on your own.
My children are grown up so not in this argument, but I can easily do the above in half an hour - less if necessary, but half an hour is plenty of time for me to be clean,respectable, fed and on my way, I can also iron something to wear in that time if needed.
DH takes ages (at least an hour) - he drifts about, pottering, spends ages in the shower, watches TV while he sucks at his cereal, he gets up earlier to allow for all this buggering about. Then starts shouting at me that I need to 'get up or I won't be ready' - I don't need to get up until half an hour before I need to leave.
So how long does it take you - am I quick or is he slow?
