I agree Bright I'm surprised it's not been advertised - Laura Linney is a fantastic actress, totally believeable. The other cast members are excellent too. Wonder how successful it is in the US?

Let's hope it is or else we won't be seeing it again!! It's so annoying. I have seen Damages already and it is by far the best one. There's is so much great quality telly out there that people don't seem to be getting the chance to watch.

Very true!! I also love Dexter and The Walking Dead (which is currently off air mid series!!) I bought my DH Breaking Bad for Chrimbo, it's had rave reviews.

Yes really enjoyed it, a few laugh out loud moments. I found the reaction of Cathy's brother (when he found out) hard to watch. Would a close brother really act that way? He said some really awful stuff. Also not sure about Marlene appearing in it, but it's only the first one so will see how it pans out.

It's a shame it's not on for a hour. Half an hour one day a week isn't enough!!

I loved Marlene so am glad to have her still in it!

Not sure about the brother but it was so obvious that the Cynthia Dixon character would tell-she´s so annoying.
Can´t see what the point of her is tbh.

Oh God, I can't believe I didn't see this advertised anywhere and missed this thread yesterday. Why has it not been trailed at all? I love this.

I have just trawled through the Sky planner and the first episode is repeated at midnight Tuesday into Wednesday if that is any help to anyone. I have now set it to Sky Plus the series.

It was trailed, after/during Desperate Housewives I think.

Love it, although I did start bawling at the flashback bit of her son sitting amongst all the presents (disclaimer: I got turned down for a job today so am feeling more emotional than usual).

Don't watch Desperate Housewives. The last series was trailed all the time. I get so annoyed when this happens.

I dont know why this happens and why they think people must have gone off it so it hardly gets a trailer. It wasnt mentioned in the tv guides either. Good quality programmes always slip through the net like, Mad Men.

Yes I loved Marlene too! Was so shocked when they killed her off.

Cynthia Nixon's character is annoying but then I found it hard to warm to Miranda in SATC.

theres not much difference between them is there? Although, I did like her out of the four of them.

I love this and wierdly find it very upbeat, love the way she is always smiling. Did find the bit with her brother very sad though when he found out about her cancer.
