Did it have a break over Christmas as we've caught up with them now? I haven't watched it in many years but remember the days when we were 18 months behind them (Scott & Charlenes wedding IIRC).

My sister is travelling in Oz at the moment and changed her schedule to visit Ramsey Street and Lassiters . The only do the Lassiters trips at weekends when they're not filming so she stayed in Melbourne until after the saturday trip. She doesn't even watch Neighbours these days! I was most impressed to see the pics up on FB.

I actually felt a bit sorry for Kate yesterday. That Noah is a gigantic weirdo, it would make my skin crawl if I'd kissed someone like that. I missed the kissing episode - was she drunk? She seemed a bit less drippy and more feisty yesterday, maybe that's why I warmed to her a bit more.

What's Sophie going to do?

He's clearly a troubled kid- she totally abused her position and then lied to his face, threatened him and gloated about destroying evidence (which incidentally f*cked up someone else's academic career, not that she cared as long as she could save her own).

Yes, Andrew is Scottish or was brought up in Scotland in real life - the actress playing Sophie was born there too apparently.

Wrote a long summary but it got deleted.

Basically in front of principal Andrew said he'd made the whole thing up, principal went on at Sophie about making up allegations and finally Kate caved and told the truth.
She's being reported to her uni and might lose the right to teach ever again. Sophie hates her guts and is moving in with Paul.

At the end of the episode Kate was left all alone quivering with self-righteous indignation. She did manage a pained tear eventually- she's obviously feeling v sorry for herself.

Oh and she used the Stef Scully defence of 'trying to protect her sister'. Never mind that not once after the kiss had she thought of Sophie, only that she would lose her job.

Watch it on re-runs tonight or tomorrow, it was great!

Does anyone else hate the 'this week, on Neighbours...' thing they do on a Monday where they completely give away what is going to happen, so you know Michael finds out that Tash isn't really pregnant, or that Sonya tells Callum she's his mum a few days in advance. Today they let slip on 'tomorrow, on Neighbours....' that Susan ends up suspecting Karl and Jade of having an affair.

We cancelled Sky so I can't sky plus and fast forward it anymore, I just have to turn the sound down and not look.

STOP SPOILING IT! I WANT TO FIND OUT AS IT HAPPENS, NOT A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE.

I discovered the australian episodes are uploaded onto youtube every day, so I caught up with them over the holidays! So I'm weeks ahead of the uk, can't decide whether to sop watching until the uk catches up, or carry on watching on youtube!

Totally! I hardly ever watch neighbours in real time; if it's about to start I pause it, and pop to the loo or make a cup of tea so I can ffwd through the spoilers and adverts.

I switch off pretty sharpish at the end too to avoid the ones at the end.

When is Libby coming back?

I forgot about Libby! I can't wait for the Kate/Noah/Summer storyline to finish because I can't stand all three of them.

I agree Kate is vile, vile, vile. But the people behind the show seem to want us to like her, despite her appalling behaviour. Even if her ex died, in a position of responsibility you reach out for help so things like this don't happen. Poor Noah (reminds self this isn't real)

Libby in real life is having mental health issues so is on indefinite leave. It's so odd that they never ever mention her.
