DH thinks it rubbish.

I missed the first one but saw the second last night.

I like it. The only person who gets on my nerves is the woman who says 'cocking this and that' all the time. Stella does too but not as much.

It's not that I object to swearing, it's just that I find it jarring.

Is it a substitute for 'fucking this and that' where Sky 1 have shied away for fear of offence? Like in EE when people who would swear use milder words they'd never use in a million years? I'd rather they didn't at all then I probably wouldn't notice.

Or do Welsh people really say 'cocking' instead of 'fucking'?

It's OK. Not as funny as I hoped it would be, much like Trollied.

Im just watching Stella on catch up - I LOVE it. Ruth Jones is brilliant as always - I adore her.

I nearly cried for Stella- pg 16yo dd, knacked out car- can't seem to win, bless her. I think she would mumsnet if she was real

I really liked it. I'm from the S. Wales valleys and its characters are over the top, but based very much in reality. I do think every "cocking" is meant to be "fucking" too. I'm looking forward to hearing, "That's cowing lush, that is"

Yeah no sound here ! Its repeated loads during the week on both sky1 and 2.

well its not on at 10pm . . . repeats it is then .

They are showing it (tomorrow) Sat, 9pm, sky 1 AND Sunday 9pm sky 2.

Supposed to be on at 9pm tomorrow night instead now

I think its good actually all the characters got something going on

Love it. Nearly gave up because of the fault and Sky+ was filling up but recorded it on Saturday and have just watched it.

Small confession: I turned on the subtitles because I couldn't understand the old man only to realise that the joke is that hardly anyone can understand him.

Thought the scene with waxing the old chaps eyebrows was hilarious
