Cyb I think the action starts from the day after the end of hte last series,so Will and Alicia have just slept together.

Alicia and Peter are separated, he moved out (she sent him out) towards the end of hte last series. But, no-one really knows that, although Eli does. Peter is State's Attorney, with a view to a more serious political position, like Governor.

Eli is now running a politicial/PR consultancy alongside the law practice from their offices.
