Sex and the City Movies - Love or loathe?

Just watching Sex and the City 2 on Sky. Do you like or loathe the Sex and the City movies?

Liked the first one, a bit

Couldnt stand Charlottes daughter who seemed to be in every scene, even Carries hen night one

Second one laughable, especially the OTT outfits

loathe.. to be honest after a couple of seasons I thought the tv show was pretty crap and indulgent

Loathe. For different reasons from headfairy, I liked the TV series a lot but the first movie was silly and the second dire.

Never liked any of it for some reason SJP makes me want to scream, she trys to be so girly although she must be the wrong side of 40 by now.

I would never have gone to the cinema to see them but watched them on flights and, they passed the time. I didnt mine them.

Loved the series but, hated the way Carrie ended up with Big.

SJP is annoying full stop.

Loved the series and I quite liked some of the first movie, particularly Jennifer Hudson but hated the way that Carrie was so feckin whiney in it when Miranda was equally heartbroken. The second movie was just dire.

The films were a disgusting betrayal of everything that made the series great. I still don't understand how they could fuck itup quite so comprehensively. The first film was ok but I nearly walked out of the cinema for the second. I have always liked Kim Catrall; how she could have signed up to play such a hideous charicature.... I can only assume the pay cheque was massive.

only watched the series after the first movie as I enjoyed it. Hated the second movie, thought it was dreadful.

The movies made me realise what a selfish self-obsessed character Carrie is. My brother-in-law pointed it out when the TV series was on but I only really saw what he meant when I saw her antics in the film (reminder to self - Carrie is a FICTIONAL person!!).

Loved the first film but the second was awful.

I liked bits of both movies but the tv series was snappier.

Both were a massive disappointment compared to the tv series. However the first one was just middling whereas the second one was insultingly bad.

First one was ok.

The second one is one of the worst films I've ever seen. DH couldn't watch past Liza Minneli.

Not a patch on the earlier series.

I really enjoyed the series, I watched it several times.

I watched the first film and didn't think it was too bad although not great.

The second film was appalling, far too over the top and didn't really have a story line. I also got annoyed with Carrie's character, far too irritating.
