Ok, I know I am many years behind. But finally, I've got this on series link from Ep 1 Season 1... Have never ever seen it, but I dribble excessively over adore Dominic West and I gather it is brilliant, but DH is always skeptical about new things, so is a little bit "oh, save that to watch when I'm out".....

Will he be persuaded? Please be honest! It's winter, we're staying in a lot and having a great series to follow each week would be great.

Don't bother persuading him. Just enjoy it by yourself. If he misses it it's his own silly fault .

DH never got into it either. He can't be bothered with things that are quite complex. Later, when I started raving about it, he took against it out of contrariness because he realised he'd missed something good and didn't want to admit it.

I'm just over half way through the first series - I think it takes does take a bit of getting into. Best thing would be to watch the first few episodes at once. It's definitely worth it though.

Totally agree with you about Dominic West btw......weirdly like him even more when he's doing his american accent....mmmmm.....

I couldn't get DH into it either. It didn't help that the dialogue is very hard to follow at first. I managed to watch series 1 when I was on mat leave and thought it was absolutely superb, but haven't been able to watch any more.

We do all our telly watching together so, sadly, if we're not both into a show we don't get to watch it.

Dominic West gets skankier as it goes on. He looks good again in real life now though.

Avon Barkley just got better. I never fancied Idris Elba but I can see why people do.

Daniels has a fantastic body that you get to see more of in later seasons. Shame about his face.

I followed it much more enjoyably once I'd turned the subtitles on...
