casualty update please?

watched last night for the first time in months since xfactor highjacked sat night - what has happened as there is a new ED? i think last time i saw it mads(?) was going to the police, ruth was back Dr'ing under supervision after getting better and it looked like she might get back with that nurse. where have they all gone?

Ooooh, shelley, where to start.

First, Mads did go to the police and things happened-guy who assaulted her turned out to be her friend's husband. In the end, Mads saved his life and it was discovered that he had syphilis. Presumably, the actress got a better offer as then Mads disappeared off to Pakistan to get married, cracking Dr. Lyon's heart in the process.

We had the introduction of new nurse Linda and new student nurses Lloyd and Scarlett. We also have two new doctors who are married but separated: Dylan Keogh and Sam Nicholls.

Ruth and Jay got back together. She got pregnant and after the explosion in the ED, they left for a two-up two down by the sea.

ooh how lovely, i love a happy ending (for ruth and jay). yay! shame about mads and the dr. dylan seems interesting, will wait and see how all that turns out.

New set as old one destroyed in fire. There is a new set because filming has moved from Bristol to Cardiff which is also the reason for some of the cast deciding to leave.
