Oh it is too much! On twice in one evening!

7:00pm BBC4 Caught on a Train - enjoy him when he was young!

9:00pm ITV1 Foyle's War - new series. Appreciate the charms of an older man.

Sorry to tread on your toes RTKM - couldn't resist.

It could be filmed on the moon for all I care! There is only one focal point in my mind.

You could go and watch him filming on/near the beach

Regretably not any more RTKM. We left Sussex last February and now live in the West Country. Someone did tell me on Mumsnet that MK lives in Somerset (I think) but regretably again, that is not the part of the WC we live in!

I am pleased about Caught on a Train being on though as I have long been debating about buying it on DVD so I could watch it again, but now I will be able to record it.

As soon as I saw this I thought of you LM! I remembered you like him. I'm the one with the dh who also likes Foyle too (hopefully for different reasons to you!) - he's overjoyed that it's on again tonight

Yes I remember you TG, having to take holidays in Sussex and following your dh about as he did his Foyle impersonations!

Mercy, that was that one off where he played a conman isn't it? Yes I saw it. Of course, he was not playing a nice character in that, but still, he is a brilliant actor.

Not lauded enough IMO.

The house he "lives in" in Foyle's War is in the Old Town, Hastings.
