Please tell me I'm not the only one watching without being entirely sure what's happening!

I just know the other blonde mum from Outnumbered is in it.

Halfway through, and still lost.

I think Wine will only make this worse!

it was odd, very odd

LeBOF · 05/01/2012 22:36

I'm watching. It should be worth it, if the Life On Mars writers are involved.

TeaandHobnobs · 05/01/2012 22:39

Towards the end I was wondering if we were indeed meant to be taking it seriously Confused

DH was bitterly disappointed, as it looked to be the perfect blend (for him) of law and fantasy - however the legal aspects were just bonkers, and the fantasy element just rather bizarre... Not to mention the weird religious overtones which were creeping in!

Also disappointed that Sam West could be part of such a piece of poo Sad

I felt their wings weren't big enough to carry them. Spoiled it for me really.

RhondaRoo · 05/01/2012 22:46

I've recorded it.

In all honesty, when I saw it previewed I did think Shock, what the actual?? So intend to watch and not enjoy.

Reading these comments makes me more intrigued!!

What a load of tosh. Was the Irish one from Mistresses?

Idontknowhowtohelpher · 06/01/2012 00:34

I couldn't follow the timeline - it got to court but the blonde girl was still in hospital? and how was the gun used again - was it not evidence? or was that a different gun?

I do like Sam West though Grin

Glad it wasn't just me who didn't really understand what was going on. Was it real life or like life on mars/ashes to ashes was all this taking place in some sort of death transit area where the court was deciding whether you went to heaven or hell.

Or am I completely off the mark?

ScatterChasse · 06/01/2012 18:15

Gosh, I'm so glad it wasn't just me!

I loved Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, and whilst they went a bit more confusing at the end, you knew the characters, and could try and puzzle it out/think up conspiracy stories.

This, I didn't understand why the characters were where they were, or what they were doing or why they were doing it.

I'll watch again next week though, and see if I'm any less Confused!

Did we ever get to the bottom of what's going on or have all given up? It's on in the background now and I still can't get the angels/lawyers bit.

flapperghasted · 20/01/2012 08:47

I find it a bit odd, but seem compelled to watch it. But then, I watched Quantum Leap for years before thinking, this is the same old tosh recycled over and over and over, so I'll clearly watch anything!

limitedperiodonly · 20/01/2012 14:21

Since Life On Mars, Ashley Pharoah will always get commissioned.

It explains the otherwise inexplicable continuation of Wild at Heart.
