just want to make it known that the camera work on the smorgasbord bit is crap. We want to see the items and not keep cutting to Kirsty or the contestants. We don't need to see their faces while they're making a choice, nor do we need to see K saying whether they're right or wrong. Blokey being informative is OK though.

Otherwise, the show has potential.

Oh and we need to see items for longer and more clearly. That marrow spoon was beautiful but we didn't really get to see it properly so we couldn't really make a guess. The antiques quiz with Sandy T was good for letting viewers see things well.

Most quiz shows do better on both these things.

I thought it was rubbish and the bald bearded guy really irritated me. Although that wasn't really the quizzes fault on reflection. In fact they all burnt my onions, every single one. Especially Kirsty.

Have just watched it. The production on that show was lame.

Boasting now, but I'm sure I answered more right questions than those so-called foodies! DP ended up requesting me to stop saying "chocolate! It's chocolate! Chocolate you idiots!" at the telly in an exasperated tone Grin Blush

"Burnt my onions" Grin how apt! Fab saying

I wasn't impressed by Kirsty either, her voice really grates; however, dh can't bear to even see Sandy Toksvig, but as the antiques quiz is quite (not greatly, mind) interesting he'll put up with her.
