Endeavour ITV tonight!

Is anyone else as excited as me??I absolutely love Morse and Lewis and have even done a Morse tour of Oxford!! I have seen every episode of both programmes. I just hope Endeavour is as good so i am not disapointed!!

Thought it was great. Fingers crossed they make more episodes.

they hated having that red car, according to lewis, it qutie often didnt start ruined the filming.

I got such a shock when I saw JT in the mirror. I thought Shaun Evans was amazing, i hope he gets nominated for something! Twas good to see the actor playing Thursday in a "goody" role. The last time i saw him he was"Supermac" the "bad" cop in Ashes to Ashes!

It was really good.

It was truly wonderful tv viewing, absolutely gripping stuff and the acting and characters were superb. Loved loved loved it.

I loved John Thaws daughter saying
'do I know you? Another life perhaps' or something similar. Lovely

Yes Yes Yes !! brilliant!!! (I remember the 60's and the period feel was soooo good) especially the girls school. Usually they get it wrong there must have been some older people working on it. I just love the Morse and Lewis series as well. I do hope they make more of them.

Only one criticism did anyone else notice this? the murdered girl's body would have shown that she had been dead before the fake girl was seen at the bus stop by the vet? Am I right or did I miss something (I had to look away when they did the post mortem on her like the young morse i'm squeamish!!)

Thought this was fantastic - so much better than Lewis and wonderful from start to finish.

It was fabulous and had the "feel" of Morse much more than Lewis does

I loved it - the image in the car mirror was the perfect acknowledgement of John Thaw without making it too sentimental. And DH and I both noticed the way he got Morse's gestures - pulling his ear, stroking his jaw when thinking - but without descending into slavish mimicry. Perfect.

TAKE NOTE ITV: WE WANT A SERIES!

I was totally captivated the whole way through which for me is quite rare. He portrayed the young morse just brilliantly.

I thought this was really good too - much better than Lewis, where the Oxford plot stuff always seems hammy and contrived.

Actually I thought this was as good as the best Morse episodes. The period detail was great and the end was genuinely moving rather than trite.

I would love a series of this!

I really hope they make a series of this.
