First-series DVD is probably still around. Or you might find it on YouTube if you don't mind variable quality and watching it in little bits.

Ihave just seen an i tunes ad for Sherlock Holmes, could be worth a try.

I did look on iTunes, thanks. It's £7.99 for the three episodes so I think I will wait a while and see if it appears again on the BBC. I begrudge paying my licence fee already without paying twice!

I doubt that they'll show it while series two is on. I think the first one was repeated around Christmas but on the BBC HD channel for some reason. Maybe they'll repeat it after this one ends. Good luck anyway, and when/if you catch it I hope you enjoy it!

Series 1 is cheaper than £7.99 on amazon I think.
