who is miranda though?

They are in Switzerland on a glaciar next to the Matterhorn. They got there by helicopter. Miranda had never been in a helicopter before and suffers from claustrophobia.

I will give it a whirl then. The Sky Plus is getting all backed up with stuff i'm not sure whether to watch.

I've never watched Bear Grylls before (all this survival stuff not my sort of thing) so wasn't sure what to expect but I enjoyed it. I thought he was very patient and understanding in knowing just how to coax Miranda through when she was having a bit of a panic. And Miranda was so brave, although she did let the side down with the tent, I could have put that up in seconds.

Why did she need to wake him up in order to go for a wee? I couldn't follow the logic of that at all, wouldn't she want privacy? I don't like weeing in front of DH, I'd never be able to relax my muscles enough to wee in front of Bear Grylls.

I haven't seen much of him before, I thought he came across as a bit professionally kind. He was acting nice and understanding for the camera, and he was definitely faking a sense of humour, his laughs weren't at the right time.

I would love to do that helicoptor ride, what an amazing view.
