I've not seen this before, it might be a new series- or a repeat of one.
It's on the digital channel called Really...just been flicking the channels enjoying some idle time off work.
It's really interesting, based mainly at a hospital in Derby (City hospital?), following the midwives and mothers to be.
I noticed an interesting contrast- there was a program on beforehand called 'Maternity Ward' which was based in the USA...nearly all the women on that one have had epidurals and an obstetrician delivers the baby, not a midwife, apparently this is the norm in the states.
Quite easy to tell who has had an epidural and who hasn't- by the quality & volume of the screaming! 
One thing that I was a bit
at was that they don't seem to blur anything out to preserve some modesty on the Desperate Midwives program!! Still, on the other hand it shows childbirth for the reality that it is- just not for the faint-hearted during the afternoon!
